120 Lowell Ave. Palo Alto CA. Price Reduced by $100,000

When I blog about the market, I like to let people know about opportunities.  This week the opportunity is in Old Palo Alto.

The home at 120 Lowell Ave., Palo Alto is currently priced at $1,599,950 and is in move-in condition.  It is a charming brown shingled three bedroom, one bath home.  It was built in 1951 when everyone had one bathroom.  Even the Mad Men.  Since the 50's this home has been updated with granite counters and custom cabinets in the kitchen and stunning full bath.  The kitchen is part of a great room that expands to the living/dining area, spacious deck and private backyard.

Old Palo Alto is one of the first areas of Palo Alto to be built out.  It is a charming area with mature trees and wide streets.  Among the current property owners are doctors, lawyers, dot com entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and sports figures. There is a good mix of properties  ---  some smaller and priced under $1,000,000 and some of the homes are stately mansions on an acre of lot.  Steve Jobs of Apple Computer and Pixar fame purchased a home in Old Palo Alto and then bought the lot next door and has perhaps the most fascinating English garden with a Sunset Magazine western twist I've ever seen.

The property at 120 Lowell has a walkabilty score of 80 (out of 100).  Stop by and pick up a flyer with an area map and points of interest.  I will be hosting the open house for this property tomorrow, Sunday, September 18 from 1:30 tp 4:30 pm.  Please stop by and see this special property in Old Palo Alto.  This property is listed by Erika Enos of Keller Williams Realty in Palo Alto, and I have her permission to blog about 120 Lowell Ave., Palo Alto, CA.120 Lowell Ave Palo Alto CA
